Red Dead Online: How to Play with Friends

Red Dead Online: How to Play with Friends
Red Dead Online is now available to the vast majority of Red Dead Redemption 2 players, and while some may be running into server issues and other problems, those who are able to get into a game may be wondering how they can start playing with their friends. Well, there are some prerequisites players have to complete before they can start playing Red Dead Redemption 2 with their friends online, so they shouldn’t expect to just jump into a game with them right away.

First and foremost, Red Dead Online players who want to play with their friends will have to complete the mode’s introduction. This introduction takes about an hour to complete, and consists of players customizing their character, going through some basic tutorials, and also stealing some horses with some strangers online in a mission called Honor Among Horse Thieves. Red Dead Online will find three other people for players to complete this part of the mission with, though it’s possible that friends may be able to join in. Unfortunately, we were unable to test it at the time of writing, and it may be better to just get all the introductory stuff out of the way first anyway.
After players are free to roam the online open world in Red Dead Redemption 2, they can then start inviting friends to their game (assuming their friends have also completed the introductory mission). To do this, players need to press left on the d-pad, and then select the Player menu. From there, click on Players, which shows everyone in the online session, as well as everyone that players have on their PlayStation Network or Xbox Live friends list.

This feature is also made available after completing the intro, and players should see the Form Posse option in the same menu that they used to invite their friends to the game.

Pokemon GO: Shiny Pokemon

Pokemon GO: Shiny Pokemon Will Be Easier to Catch During Community Event
The weather outside may be frightful, but that isn’t stopping Niantic from offering a special Community Day Weekend for Pokemon GO. In the most recent information on the event, players can expect to see far more shiny Pokemon out there in the wild than they ordinarily would.

Although an increase in shiny Pokemon appearances was announced when Niantic unveiled Pokemon GO‘s Community Weekend event, it was unclear how long the rate would last. Initially, players suspected that the window would be for a mere three hours, as many of the planned bonuses for the Community Weekend will only last that long. Thankfully, Niantic has now clarified the issue with a tweet, explaining that an increased number of shiny form Pokemon will appear over the course of the entire weekend.

It’s a good time to get outside and catch Pokemon, providing that the player isn’t living in a frozen tundra already. The Community Day Weekend will offer increased spawns, shinies, twice as much capture EXP, Stardust, and will double the hatching speed of Pokemon eggs. Pokemon that were previously available during Community events will also appear in the wild, and new Field Research tasks will also be available during the celebration. And of course, players who are happy with their new team additions can transfer Pokemon to Pokemon Let’s Go, if desired.
Although it’s not the best time to head outdoors for much of the Northern Hemisphere, a new feature is coming that may allow players to play while sheltered indoors, too. Niantic is finally bringing Pokemon trainer battles to the game, although the developer still hasn’t provided an exact date for when the feature will launch. However, the company previously hinted at aiming for this feature to go live in 2018, so its release date may be just around the corner.
Anyone who plays Pokemon GO can participate in this event, but players will need to prepare to make the most of this Community Weekend. Certain bonuses and spawn rates will only increase during three hour windows, which vary depending on the area the player is in. With little time left to get ready, check out Game Rant’s guide to Pokemon GO‘s Community Weekend.

Rumor: Capcom to Release Resident Evil 2 Remake

Rumor: Capcom to Release Resident Evil 2 Remake Demo in December
In less than two months, Capcom’s highly-anticipated remake of Resident Evil 2 will be released worldwide. While the developer has been consistently feeding fans with trailers and gameplay footage featuring the Lickers, players are still eagerly waiting for Capcom to reveal whether Resident Evil 2 remake will get a playable demo soon.

Although Capcom is still yet to announce a Resident Evil 2 demo (if there will be one in the first place), a Twitter user who goes by the name of Anthony Robert posted photos online of what seems to be the menu screen of the upcoming demos. The images show the ruins of Raccoon City as a backdrop with three selections, Leon Demo, Claire Demo, and Options, suggesting that players will be able to play as both Leon and Claire in the preview.
While the photos look legit, players must still take this information with a grain of salt as Capcom still hasn’t issued a word about an upcoming demo. Moreover, Roberts wasn’t able to provide any additional proof to back up his claims aside from a sketchy video of him booting up the demo from what looks like a modded PlayStation 4 that didn’t open.

Of course, while there is no substantial proof to support this claim, a playable demo for the Resident Evil 2 remake is likely not far off. It is worth remembering that during the development of Resident Evil 7, Capcom released a playable demo back in December of 2016, with the full game published by January 2017. Given that Resident Evil 2 remake is releasing on January 25, 2019, it is safe to assume that if Capcom does decide to launch a playable demo, then players can expect it to roll out sometime this December.

As the Resident Evil 2 remake is approaching release day soon, fans are wondering which game the developer will remake next. Capcom has previously stated that it is open to remaking more games in the future, but cannot commit to a specific title until the release of Resident Evil 2 remake. While a reimagining of Resident Evil’s third game seems to be the obvious choice, Capcom says that enough time has passed to remake the first Resident Evil again.
Resident Evil 2 is scheduled to release on January 25, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

How to Get An Exclusive Fortnite Spray This Weekend

How to Get An Exclusive Fortnite Spray This Weekend
In a confluence of titanic forces, mega retail chain Walmart and battle-royale sensation Fortnite are teaming up for an in-store event. This Sunday, players can stop by their local Walmart for a “Fortnite Party,” and pickup a free, exclusive Fortnite spray while they are there

Walmart’s “Fortnite Party” is scheduled for Sunday, December 2 from 2pm to 4pm (local time), and it will occur at all Walmart Supercenters. The party will feature “a chance to show off your Fortnite dance moves,” and attendees will receive a code for an exclusive in-game spray. To receive the code, players should locate the in-store replica of Fortnite‘s Battle Bus, as codes will be distributed there.
It is important to note that these spray codes are in limited supply. Players that are bent on adding the Walmart-exclusive spray to their collection should plan accordingly.
exclusive walmart fortnite cosmetic
Introduced in Season 4 Battle Pass, sprays are collectible cosmetic items that can be used to apply graffitied images to surfaces within Fortnite. Upon Walmart’s reveal of their exclusive spray, featuring a mohawked disco ball, some players reported that they were already in possession of it. Indeed it seems that the Boogie spray, a reward from Tier 12 of Season 5 Battle Pass featuring the word “Boogie” scrawled in a graffiti-style, was updated to the disco ball image with Patch 6.30.
The spray has since been reverted to its original form, and it is speculated that the temporary update may have been simply a graphic test before Epic Games handed the spray over to Walmart. While this cosmetic change comes with minimal damage, the familiarity of the image may have deflated Walmart’s reveal for some fans.
Fortnite‘s popularity continues to grow exponentially. Recent reports have indicated that there are over 200 million registered players, and a new partnership with the NFL has further solidified it as a full-blown cultural phenomenon. This Walmart event seems like just another stop on Epic Games’ victory tour, and fans that are willing to brave the elements can look forward to their new, exclusive cosmetic.
Fortnite is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS.
